Build a Cardboard House

What you'll need

• 4ft x 5ft sheet of cardboard
• Masking Tape*
• Scissors
• Crayola Finger Paint**
• Paint Brushes*
• This Template

**Any tape will do but this will be the least damaging to paint
**Optional but will be more fun!

Hunt for Colors and Shapes Outdoors

Want to do something to entertain your kids outdoors? Ask them to point out shapes and colors they see in your backyard! This can also work while driving too.

An example could include asking them to “Point out something red” or “Can you show me something square?” This not only allows your child to develop shape and color recognition but it can also help them learn how to associate words and objects.
